This blog is about...

This is a blog about miniature painting, featuring models from Guild Ball, Malifaux, Moonstone and other games.

The guides here are for anyone who thinks they can't paint well. You can - all you are missing are some basic tricks.

About the title: Painting yellow with acrylic colours is something new painters find hard to do well because the opacity of yellow is so low. The solution is not to use fifteen layers of it, of course, but to have the right undercoat. Then one layer is enough to give you a bright yellow that covers perfectly. If you know that, it's super easy, if you don't, you will struggle. So one little trick can make all the difference.
